Spiegelmom Scraps New Releases Blog Hop

For my layout I began with 12×12 American Crafts White Textured Cardstock. I am scrapbooking a photo of my adorable niece being her silly self. I had a thought of an all white layout. I began by creating a fun unique background with a stencil and Gloss Medium. While the gloss medium was wet I sprinkled some of the beautiful Glass Slippers Sequins on top and let them dry with the gloss medium.

 

As a photo mat I used one of the White Lace Paper Doilies and a Large Glassine Bag which I folded on one end so create some texture. I decided to bring some grey, silver and light pink into the mix.

I added a few sticker embellishments from my stash which I placed on some fun foam and then fussy cut out. I also scattered around some of the Felt-Fetti Hearts in white and two of the new colors, light and dark grey.

 

I also added the silver stars from the Alma Mater Sequin Mix and the light Pink ones from the Mocha Mint Dream Sequin Mix. I added my tittle using  a silver word from a Thickers pack and I also used some of the silver arrows and hearts from that pack.

 

I added some silver ink splatters and some detailing with a dark grey American Crafts pen. Finally, I matted the whole layout on a Grey and white Patterned Paper from the Pink Paislee Bella Rouge paper pad.
