For my project I created a 12×12 layout. I began with white cardstock and some of my Dylusions paints. I created blocks of color using the colors London Blue, Vibrant Turquoise and Fresh Lime. I also used a Prima checkerboard stencil with the Shimmerz Dazzlerz in Sea U in the Mornin over each of the color blocks. I then trimmed off about 1/2 an inch from each side and matted my whole layout with a 12×12 black and white patterned paper called Elsie from the Maggie Holmes Bloom Collection. I used a sample paint chip which I got at my local home depot which has several shades of turquoise and used that to mat my photo along with some dark grey cardstock. I then took the fun Cloudy Day Felties and colored some with the Dylusions London Blue and some with the Shimmerz Dazzlerz in Sea U in the Mornin. I added those to the top right hand side of the layout.

For my tittle I used a mix of the black Pinkfresh Studio Felicity foam thickers and the mini October afternoon letter stickers from the Land and Sea and the Sea and Sails collections.

I added a couple of black chipboard stickers from MAMBI to the bottom right of my photo. My goal for the next few months is to use up my wood veneer. I picked out three Bycicles and 2 potty people from Studio Calico and painted them using the Dylusions paint in Vibrant turquoise and Fresh Lime. I also added an Arrow and painted that with London Blue.

As a finishing touch I used black india ink to crate splatters in two areas of the layout and added some Basic Grey enamel dots as well as some of the blue sequins from Rasberry Daisy Dream Sequin Mix. This was a lot of fun to create.
